MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS!! On Saturday, Feb. 17^th, Emma W. Gr. 9, Katherine L. & Sarah L. Gr. 10, and Cristina C. Gr. 12 won the Ontario Student Debating Union Metro Debating Finals Tournament title!!!! Held at UTS school in Toronto.

On top of that, Sarah L. won the #1 best debater award out of over 40 delegates in the division. The others placed below 12^th. They now go on to the provincial finals to be held in Kitchener in February.

Congrats. Forty-five students in our school gifted program went to the Toronto Catholic District School Board Gifted Conference on Feb. 20. I think this is a new record.

Janice C., Gr.11, will be contacting an architect shortly for a possible mentorship. She is also attending the Ontario Model Parliament.
